In the scene of globalization, the relations between the North and the South produce deep social and economic differences today which frequently support and perpetuate unfair conditions of resources exploitation and access to the international markets.

The challenge that asks for humanity is double. Interfere to ensure and protect the basic rights of every individual, starting from feeding and health. Promote a growth and a diffusion of alternative economic capabilities for generating local dignified and sustainable development of the communities and categories that are defenseless in the South of the World.

In order to contribute to the last target, the association Soleterre and the Social Cooperative Equo’ participated in and launched  the international programme “Le botteghe del Sole” (Sun’s Workshops) that is recognized in the form of alternative economy and fair trade as a stimulus for a dignified and sustainable development.
